"It shall be our purpose to further the exchange of information and cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual operating efficiency, and to so conduct club programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the community. A primary objective of this organization is emergency communication preparedness for the Echo and Lost Lake communities" in Snohomish County, WA, USA
NOTE: Our regular 1st Monday of the month in-person meeting in November (Nov 2) is cancelled - we will do an Amateur Radio Net on the Clearview repeater instead.
(Our board member-at-large, Michael Ervick, is pursuing a new position in emergency management. We at WA7LEH wish him well in this endeavor! As WA7LEH is not a 501(c)(3) organization, and does not own the EOC or manage the liason with Echo Lake Community Church, we need to sort out what the future of the EOC will be that was formed under the auspices of the Paradise Valley Community Association 501(c)(3). We hope to have this sorted out by the December 7th 1st Monday of the month in-person meeting, so we can discuss any changes/repurcussions.)
Our own GMRS repeater is is up and running temporarily from our EOC location! (Ultimately destined to be co-located with the Clearview repeater) GMRS licensees, check it out!
